Pray for Yazan

Over the years, the Lord brought many young Druze men and women who decided to follow Jesus Christ into our lives. Yazan is one of those men. From 2016-2021 he lived in a garage apartment in our home in Qarnayel. He rode with us every morning and afternoon to and from Access International School with our son Johnny and another student at AIS. Those were precious times we spent reciting memory verses in English. He worked at AIS as a chef, PE coach, Bible teacher, and other jobs. The Lord blessed him with multiple talents like playing piano, playing soccer at a semi-professional level, and being a quick learner. Observing the team and gaining skills, he developed a way to live as a Druze who truly loves Jesus. At AIS, all the students admired him and enjoyed his company. Last year, he returned to Syria and spent time reaching out to the Druze believers there, but he recently felt the Lord calling him back to AIS.

Since he came back in the last few months, the AIS teenage boys have flocked to him like bees on a honeycomb, and now they meet regularly at his apartment. We praise God for his witness among these students. Ramiz and Jenny feel blessed that he is a good fit for AIS and the ministry there! Please pray for Yazan that he will continue to bear fruit and grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ.
